Kwun Tong, Hong Kong – The 65th Anniversary Celebration of Kwun Tong Government Primary School (Sau Ming Road) was marked by a grand event, the New Era of Kwun Sau Flying View Show, with Dr. Wilton Fok serving as the officiating guest. Dr. Fok, the Director of the HKU eLearning Development Laboratory, was recognized for his significant contributions to STEAM education at the school.
Dr. Fok and his dedicated team have been devoted in supporting cross-disciplinary project-based learning in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education. This collaborative effort has enriched the curriculum for Primary 5 students, integrating knowledge objectives from General Studies, Visual Arts, Mathematics, and Computer Science subjects.
One of the highlights of this collaboration was the development and teaching of a transportation system prototype design - a cable car system in Kwun Tong.
