July, 2025 — The first year of the project in cooperation with Tsuen Wan Public Ho Chuen Yiu Memorial Primary School has been completed by July, 2025. The first year of the groundbreaking initiative to digitize textbooks and create interactive learning experiences for primary 4 students in Chinese lessons. Spearheaded by a dedicated team of educators and developers, the project aimed to transform traditional learning materials into dynamic, accessible content hosted on a robust online platform. Over the past school year, the team successfully migrated textbook content to the iClass ONE platform, ensuring that students can now access their curriculum anytime, anywhere.
Beyond digitization, the project focused heavily on designing engaging, interactive activities tailored for both classroom use and at-home learning according to the school-based curriculum. These activities were inspired by the mechanics of video games, including comments to other classmates and scenario-based challenges that encourage critical thinking and active participation. In the first year of the project, the activities were designed and adjusted according to the teachers’ feedback collected from the class preparation meetings in order to increase student motivation and deeper understanding of subject matter, also ensuring instructions were easy enough for primary school students.
The platform also supports collaborative learning, allowing students to work together on tasks and share progress with their peers. Structural works were mostly done in the first year of the project, and the complete launch of application in teaching will start from the 2025/26 school year.
