EComE graduate Law Kam Yuen (EComE 2010) and students Au Yeung Hoi Hang (EComE4) turns their Final Year Project in to an Interact Class Response System and contributed to a Teaching Development Grant Project. During the reading week of the first semester, Ken and Eric together with a group of EEE students, including Wei Fan (EComE2), Tang Chun Hong Aaron (CE2), Keerthana (EComE2), Sanchit Aggarwal (CE2), Cheng Tze Kwai (EE3) and two exchange studentsREN, Zhibo and ZHANG Anqi, contribute their time and skill in electronic practices and installed the system in the Theatre C in the CYC Building. The system can facilitate more interactions in lecture. Teachers can ask questions and students can respond to the teachers by pressing the buttons on the armrest of their seats. The distribution of choices, results of each student, position of the students with top scores can be displayed. This system could make lectures more interesting and fun and encourage more active participation in classes.
“I am glad to see that our students can apply their engineering knowledge into real and practical applications and contribute their expertise and efforts to the betterment of teaching and learning facilities in the University” Dr. Wilton Fok, the project Principal Investigator.
