QTN-T workshop: Computational Thinking, Problem Solving and SDL for STEM

A teacher professional development workshop for STEM was completed on 29 September 2020. Around 50 teachers from S.T.F.A. Wu Siu Kui Memorial Primary School had participated in the workshop.

At the kick-off of workshop, Mr. Karl Cheung introduced Computational Thinking, Problem Solving and Self-directed Learning for STEM education. Followed by practices of computational thinking skills, hands-on activities of Computational Thinking and Problem Solving with micro:bit were conducted by the teachers.

Inspired by problem solving activities, integration of STEM elements and modification of teaching methods were expected to be included in school curriculum planning in future.
