Pavilion of Green ICT

iClass team members of the e-Learning Development Laboratory were invited to present their winning entry on April 14 in the Open Forum of Winners Pavilion. Their project “Electronic Textbook for Paperless Education” won the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2014 – the Green ICT Silver Award on April 7.

On the open forum, they explained how the project is green of ICT from four aspects, i.e. application of cloud technology, algorithmic efficiency, power management and Off-line mode. Meanwhile, they introduced how the project is green by ICT from functionalities and energy-saving practices.
