Biography

With over a decade of experience in the e-Learning industry, Eric is a dedicated professional with a particular focus since 2009. Currently, he serves as an Associate Director at the e-Learning Development Laboratory and an Assistant Lecturer at HKU, leading a team in various e-learning projects, including technical development, content creation, professional training, and research. Eric holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from HKU in 2011 and a Master's degree in Science (IT in Education, major in e-Learning) with Distinction from HKU in 2016. As a core member of iClass development team, Eric has made significant contributions to the development of an award-winning e-Learning platform on the cloud. The platform is currently being used by more than 500 schools globally to improve the teaching and learning environment in classrooms through smart devices. Eric's extensive experience in the e-Learning industry also includes co-supervising FYP and MSc students with Dr. Wilton Fok since 2011. The projects mainly focused on mobile applications development, e-learning platform development and AI in Education applications development.
