The Junior Secondary History e-Reading Award Scheme 2020 (The Award Scheme) is jointly organised by the PSHE Section, EDB, and the e-Learning Development Laboratory, HKU and co-organised by the History e-learning Schools Network. The aims of the scheme are to encourage secondary schools to adopt e-reading as a means to arouse students’ interest in history learning and develop their ability to learn history through reading. The e-reading platform of the Award Scheme, supported by the e-Learning Development Laboratory, HKU, provides a platform to enhance students’ interest in reading and promote self-directed learning and reading culture among the students.
