Partnership of Oxford University Press and HKU iClass - Perfect Match for e-Learning

HKU e-Learning Development Laboratory has developed an interactive mobile learning platform iClass. Adopting the iClass Learning Management System, Oxford University Press creates a fun and dynamic language learning experience with a range of engaging class activities.

The launching ceremony and briefing seminar was successfully held on May 9, 2015. Around 100 local primary and secondary school teachers attended the event. Dr Wilton Fok, Director of e-Learning Development Laboratory and Mr Eric Au Yeung, Project Manager of e-Learning Development Laboratory, shared their views on e-learning trends and how iClass helps arouse students' learning interest. Finally, based on different learning areas in Chinese and English, Mr Stanley Hui and Ms Rebecca Tsoi from Oxford University Press introduced various interactive activities on iClass such as drawing activity, mind map, polling, peer review and audio and video recording, which facilitate students’ language learning.
